JULY Competition Winner Result - Congratulations!

Congratulations to Shiree Grant of Caboolture who was the first person to have her name drawn out with the correct answer. A signed copy of "Tails Carried High" goes out to Shiree.
The answer to the quiz (below) was "Scheherezade"
Scheherezade was of course the wife of the emir in the 1001 Arabian Nights who staved off execution by keeping the Emir intrigued, night after night, weaving one story after another. The Ebony Horse was one such story.

'Tails Carried High' is a wonderful read, and the names of the people with the first 10 correct answers to the question below will be put into a hat, with the winner of the autographed book drawn on 1st August, 2010.

The Competition Question:

A tale about an amazing ebony horse was one of the many stories related by this woman to stay off her own execution. Rimsky-Korsakov wrote some famous music about her. What was the woman's name?
